Mateen is seeking a Digital Education Officer

Location: Jordan

About Us: Mateen is a non-profit organization based in Jordan. Mateen was established in October 2016. Through its programs, Mateen focuses on children, youth and women empowerment.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Digital Education Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital learning programs. This role requires a strong understanding of educational technologies and instructional design.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, leading project Planning, action plans, and monitoring processes.

-Oversee all project activities and be the main focal point for the field/ staff work under the project.

-Responsible for regularly submitting Narrative Project reports activity reports, monthly activities, success stories and achievements reports.

-Preparing and developing content and ideas in the materials and preparing training sessions for teachers and staff.

-Sourcing digital education resources for online sessions, multimedia, and mobile.

-Taking part in the planning of our organization's result-based management approach our organization.

-Conduct field visits on monthly bases to the ITSs and visit the schools.

-Follow up with the students and regularly communicate with their schools and families to solve their problems.

-Maintain project records such as databases reports and supporting documents related to the project activities.

-Document technical issues, questions, ideas for improvement, feedback, and lesson learnt in a way that can be channeled to the line manager through a transparent reporting mechanism.

-Support education team in other activities agreed and discussed with the management.

-Oversee training, coaching and ongoing support of teachers and facilitators to improve instructional practice.

-Assess, collect, compile and analyses data.

-Following up with teachers and their detailed monthly timesheet.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education.

- 3-6 years of experience in Education in NGOs.

-Well Knowledge with Teaching through Microsoft Teams.

-  Excellent English skills.

-  Strong attention to details and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
